Creativity in Animation and Digital Storytelling
This program combines the field of traditional 2D animation and 3D computer technology, focusing on various functions and applications in the broadcasting, information technology, education, and entertainment industries. Students will be exposed to various animation presentation techniques, including the study of psychological, ethical, and esthetic aspects in producing quality animation works. In addition, they will also learn about special effects of movement and sound, storytelling, as well as skills in animation design techniques and digital technology design.
This program provides students with in-depth exposure to the fundamentals and applications of both traditional and digital animation techniques, which have now become essential in various creative industries. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the Industrial@Campus program at ICYM Studios located in Cyberjaya, providing them with practical experience in a real industrial environment. This exposure enriches their technical knowledge and gives them an advantage in the rapidly growing animation industry.

Programme Structure
Pass SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) credits in any subjects, or its equivalent; OR
Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with a minimum of ONE (1) Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject, or its equivalent; OR
Pass the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with a minimum of ONE (1) Maqbul grade in any subject or its equivalent; OR
Possess an SKM Level 3 Certificate / Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) (Note: The institution will conduct screening and provide specific course guidance); OR
Possess a Certificate (Level 3, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent; OR
Other related qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia AND
Applicants must successfully pass an interview or submit a portfolio for evaluation, subject to the requirements of the institution.
