Child Development and Education

This diploma provides students with knowledge exposure, professional skills, and competencies in the field of Early Childhood Education. The programme offers a strong foundation for students to understand children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development, as well as effective teaching techniques appropriate for early childhood stages. Entry Requirements

Pass SPM with at least three (3) credits; or

Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in any subject; or

Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul;

Certificate (Level 3 MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;

Pass SKM/SVM Level 3 (MQF) in Early Childhood Care/Preschool;

(Note: Institutions are required to conduct screening and provide guidance relevant to the programme field for students.)

Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.

Achieve a minimum Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) level of High B1;
